Safety

Safety

Safety is of paramount importance to BBS Lifestyle and we maintain the highest safety standards.

Personal Safety

Intake Assessment. We are required as NASM trainers to take a physical readiness assessment with each new client prior to beginning any training regimen. This includes current health, a health history, medical conditions and issues, etc. This enables us to address issues and design a customized training program for each individual. A doctor’s note may be required for certain medical conditions.

Physical Safety. We may ask clients, especially those on a virtual training session, to have on hand something to hold onto for balance, like a chair, dresser or wall. In person, we can monitor a client’s physical safety.

Illness. We retain the right to reschedule a training session if our trainer is sick, and ask that our clients also reschedule in the case of illness.

Safety Training

All trainers at BBS Lifestyle are certified in CPR and First Aid. NASM trainers require CPR/AED re-certification every two years.

Sanitation

We sanitize our equipment thoroughly before and after each in-person workout session. Additional sanitation procedures have been implemented in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. We ask that our trainers wear a mask during in-person training sessions.
